Nokẽ' Commitment to Quality: Ensuring Excellence

You may be used to hearing about new products and software features from Nokē. In 2025, however, our focus is shifting—not to new product launches, but to enhancing the quality and reliability of our existing solutions. This initiative ensures that Nokē customers experience the full benefits of Smart Entry technology without the headaches of bugs, unexpected failures, or network issues.

1. A Dedicated Quality Assurance Team

The Nokē team has been hard at work assembling a high-powered quality assurance (QA) division, split into two key areas:

Software Quality Team – Focused on ensuring our mobile app, web portal, and integrations function seamlessly.
Hardware Quality Team – Dedicated to making sure our products withstand the harshest conditions and meet a 99.9% reliability standard.

2. Nokē Software Quality Enhancements

The software QA team, consisting of four dedicated engineers, rigorously tests every development item through functional testing, ensuring all software updates work as intended. Before any release, a comprehensive regression testing cycle is conducted, running hundreds of test cases to confirm system-wide performance remains unaffected.

To further improve quality, we are implementing:
 Automated Testing Suites – Speeds up the regression process, allowing enhancements to be deployed faster.
 Slow Rollout Process – Web portal updates will first launch to select facilities before a full release, ensuring seamless deployment.

By integrating these improvements, we aim to eliminate rollbacks and “hot fix” patches, similar to how mobile phone updates sometimes require immediate corrections.

3. Nokē Hardware Reliability Improvements

The hardware QA team, made up of five specialists, rigorously tests Nokē products at our Atlanta and Utah labs using temperature, salt spray, and humidity chambers. These tests simulate years of exposure to extreme environments, ensuring durability. Additionally, we partner with third-party testing labs for validation.

4. Nokē Ion: A New Standard in Reliability

Our newest product, Nokē Ion, is setting new benchmarks for quality:
    •    99% Lock/Unlock Performance – Ensuring a seamless experience for tenants.
    •    4x Stronger Network Signal – Expanding connection range from 100ft to 400ft.
    •    80% Fewer Customer Support Calls – Reduced troubleshooting and maintenance.
    •    Hardwired Design – Eliminates battery failures and lowers ownership costs.
    •    48-Hour Backup Power – Ensures continued access even during outages.

5. Dramatic Improvements to Nokē One

We’re also making major strides in improving existing Nokē One products:
    •    20-25% More Accurate Health Reporting – Enhancing system monitoring.
    •    50% Reduction in Reboots – Minimizing disruptions.
    •    99% Activity Accuracy on Connected Locks – Increasing reliability.
    •    30% Less Network Traffic Per Device – Optimizing system efficiency.

We've also made major improvements to our Nokē ONE battery firmware, which will increase battery life by 4 months on average for all newly installed locks as well as existing locks upon next battery replacement. 

6. Proactive Monitoring with Fleet Management

Historically, our approach to device troubleshooting has been reactive. In 2025, we are introducing a Fleet Management function that proactively monitors the health of Nokē devices across all installations. The Digital Audit Tool runs daily scans, identifying potential issues and alerting the team before they impact operations.
