Mr. Curtis founded Janus in 2001 and served as the company's Chief Executive Officer through August 2019. Curtis has over 35 years of executive experience within the industry, having founded and led multiple companies at the forefront of the self-storage and commercial sectors. He is recognized for his accomplishments at Janus by Georgia Trend magazine and Inc. magazine.
Ramey Jackson is the CEO at Janus International, the leading global manufacturer of doors, hallways, relocatable storage systems, and smart entry and facility automation solutions for the self-storage industry. Jackson has a wealth of experience in self-storage and has spent nearly two decades in sales and marketing leadership roles within the industry. Prior to joining the Janus team in 2002, Jackson served as a regional sales manager at Doors and Building Components Inc. and also held various sales and marketing titles at both Atlas Door and GA Power. Jackson is an Atlanta native and enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids on the lake.
Mr. Sannes, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer responsible for the financial, human resource and information technology departments. Mr. Sannes has over 15 years of highly diverse business experience on national and international levels.
Mr. Sannes holds a BBA, Accounting from University of Wisconsin-Madison – School of Business.
Mr. Hodges serves as the Company’s Vice President of Technical Sales and Installation and has broad responsibilities including estimating, contract sales, installation services and product development. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Hodges owned and operated a general contracting firm which constructed, among other things, self storage facilities. Mr. Hodges has more than 25 years of experience in the self storage industry and is widely respected by industry participants.
Pete Frayser serves as Vice President of Sales and also manages Janus’ business development efforts in Latin America, Asia and Africa from his home base in Atlanta, GA. Prior to joining Janus, Pete worked for a real estate developer in Valencia, Spain and later in the international sports industry with MLB and the NBA in New York City. Pete has bachelor’s degrees in International Business and Spanish from the University of Georgia and a Master’s degree in International Trade from the University of Castilla La Mancha (Spain).
Mr. Higashi, was appointed President, Western Division; Self Storage in 2009. Prior to Janus he was the owner of Epic Doors. Mr. Higashi has over 20 years of experience in the roll-up steel space in some capacity.
Terry Bagley is president of the Smart Entry and Facility Automation division at Janus International. Terry oversees the development and implementation of smart entry and automation technology designed to help self-storage operators increase the value of their facilities and improve operations. He’s spent more than 16 years providing leading-edge technology tools to the self-storage industry.
Christine DeBord is the VP of for Janus International, the largest global supplier of doors, hallways, and new technology for the self storage industry. Christine has been working in self
storage access control and new technology for the past four years.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, Troy Bix is president of the R3 Division at Janus International Group, a manufacturer of self-storage roll-up doors, building and technology components. Prior to joining Janus, Troy served as vice president of the Inside Self-Storage (ISS) brand, which he founded in 1991, overseeing its media assets and the annual ISS World Expo. He’s held management positions in a variety of other industries, from business development to media publishing.
Mr. Hughes serves as the Company’s Vice President of the R3 Division (Restore. Rebuild. Replace.). Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Hughes was employed by Doors and Building Components Inc., where he was the Director of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Hughes has over 15 years of experience in the self storage industry. He is an active member of industry associations, ISS, SSA, FSSA, NCSSA, GASSA, FEDESSA and ASBRASS. Mr. Hughes owned and operated 4Seasons Self Storage in Villa Rica, GA from 2008-2014.
Mr. Hughes played college baseball on a full scholarship then coached high school baseball during the 1998 season. He is a former member of the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Hughes earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Technology Management from Southern Polytechnic State University. In his spare time, Mr. Hughes enjoys golf, hunting, off-shore fishing and skiing. He is engaged to Jeannie Charles of San Diego, CA.
Mr. Nettie joined the Company in 2002 and is the Company’s Vice President of Manufacturing. Prior to Janus, Mr. Nettie was a senior manager with Doors and Building Components, Inc. Mr. Nettie has more than 25 years of experience in installation and production of commercial and self storage products. He is a graduate of Michigan State University.
Mr. Prybyloski joined the Janus team in 2016 and is the Company’s Vice President of Purchasing. Prior to Janus, Mr. Prybyloski held roles as President, Vice President of Sales, and Business Development Manager for Metal Coaters, a business segment of NCI Buildings and has over 35 years of experience in the steel producing, painting and processing industry in various positions at US Steel, New Process, and Coilplus before joining Janus. Mr. Prybyloski graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Jeromson was appointed CEO of Steel Storage Holdings in December 2012. Prior to this he was the Managing Director for Steel Storage Europe, a role he took on when joining the group in 2008. Colin has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry and before joining Steel Storage he spent 10 years with Schindler, the multi-national Swiss Elevator company. While there, he fulfilled various executive roles in several European countries.
Colin is a qualified engineer and holds an MBA from Bolton University (Manchester, England) and various management qualifications from IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland).
