Changing and Testing a Nokē ONE Battery

Regular battery maintenance is essential for keeping your Nokē ONE lock functioning properly. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to safely remove and replace the battery using the Nokē ONE removal tool. Follow along with the video tutorial or written steps to complete the replacement correctly.


1. Changing the Battery

You can replace the Nokē ONE battery quickly using the removal tool. Only use the battery supplied with Nokē ONE - other batteries may not provide the correct voltage, current, or capacity for proper performance.

To replace the battery:

  1. Slide the removal tool onto the Nokē ONE hasp lock so that the edge of the tool aligns with the left edge of the lock.Removal Tool and Noke ONE
  2. Hold the removal tool firmly in place with one hand.
  3. With the other hand, firmly push in the battery holder to release it.Battery Holder
  4. Insert the new battery into the holder, ensuring the positive end faces to the rightBattery Placement.
  5. Reinsert the battery holder into the Nokē ONE hasp lock.
  6. Press firmly on the top and bottom of the holder to ensure both hooks engage securely.

After replacing the battery, check the low-battery list in the Web Portal and update it as needed.


2. Testing the Lock

Before adding the Nokē ONE hasp lock to the Nokē Smart Entry system, manually test the lock to ensure it functions correctly.

To test the lock:

  1. Tap the plastic window on the front of the device three times.
    • The light will turn blue when your touch is registered.Hasp Blue
  2. After three taps, the light turns green, indicating the lock is ready for unlocking.Hasp Green
