Viewing and Sending a Daily Access Code

Need to grant temporary access to your facility? The Daily Access Code feature lets you generate a 24-hour code for vendors, inspectors, or auction winners. It's a simple and secure way to allow entry without manual oversight.

Who Can Use the Daily Access Code?

Daily access codes are designed for anyone who needs temporary access to your facility, without being added as a full-time user. This feature is ideal for:

  • Maintenance or service workers

  • Inspectors

  • Auction winners

  • Delivery personnel

  • One-time company visitors

  • Vendors or contractors performing scheduled work

  • Potential tenants taking a tour

These codes are especially helpful when you need to give secure, limited-time access without making permanent changes to your system or access lists.

How Long Is the Code Active?

Daily access codes are automatically generated and valid for 24 hours, starting at midnight (site time). Here’s how it works:

  • A new code is created every day at midnight.

  • Once the 24-hour window passes, the old code is automatically revoked.

  • You don’t need to manually remove or deactivate anything — it’s all handled by the system.

This automation ensures access is temporary, secure, and low-maintenance.

Note: This code by default works on all the gates at your facility.

Ways to Share the Daily Code

There are several easy ways to share the daily code with a visitor or vendor:

  • Send by Text Message

    • From the Facilities page, enter the person’s phone number in the “Enter phone number to send code” field.

    • Click the arrow button to instantly send the code via text.

  • Copy to Clipboard
    • Click the Copy to Clipboard button.
    • Paste the code into an email, chat platform (like Slack, Teams), or other communication tool your company uses.

  • Share In Person

    • You can also write the code down and hand it to someone who visits your office in person — a quick, simple option for walk-ins or on-site guests.

No matter how you share it, the access code will only work for that day, helping to keep your facility secure.
