Understanding the People On Site Widget

The updated Facilities page features five dashboard widgets that provide quick insight into activity at each of your facilities:

  • People On Site

  • Entry Alerts

  • Delinquencies

  • Open Units

  • Voltage Alerts

This article focuses specifically on the People On Site widget.

This pop-up is divided into two sections:

On Site Alert

This section shows tenants who entered the facility but have not exited in over 1.5 hours. These tenants may require further attention or a quick check-in to ensure everything is okay.

People On Site

This section displays tenants who have been on-site for less than 1.5 hours. Their presence is considered normal, based on average tenant behavior.

For each tenant listed, you’ll see:

  • The name of the entry point they used

  • The type of entry point (e.g., gate or door)

  • How long they’ve been on-site, based on their most recent entry

Note: This pop-up is view-only and is not clickable.

Automatic Removal Rules

The system uses built-in logic to automatically remove users from the People On Site list based on activity:

  • Exit Detection: Users are removed once they exit through a designated Nokē Smart Entry exit point.

  • Inactivity Timeout:

    • If the tenant has a Nokē Smart Lock, they are removed after 1 hour of inactivity.

    • If the tenant does not have a Nokē Smart Lock, they are removed after 2 hours.

  • End-of-Day Reset: All users are automatically removed at midnight, assuming the facility is closed and empty.

Important: The manual “Remove from Facility” feature has been retired.
If a tenant leaves without using a tracked method (such as tailgating or exiting through an open gate), they will remain listed until the system removes them based on the first applicable automatic rule.
