Replacing the Battery in a Fob

How to replace the battery in a Nokē Fob

The Nokē fobs have a battery in the back, this battery should only need to be replaced every few years. The battery is a CR2032 battery, which can be purchased from most local stores or online.

To begin the battery replacement process, you will need to gather a few tools.

The first tool required is a small, flat-edged object that can be inserted into the slot on the back of the fob to remove the back panel. Suitable options include a coin, a flat-head screwdriver, a key, or any similar-sized object that fits securely in the slot.

Next, you will require a tool that can assist in removing the actual battery. This tool should have a small pointed end that can easily slip underneath the back of the battery. Suitable options include a small screwdriver, a bobby pin, or any similar-sized object.

To begin, carefully insert the first tool into the slot on the back of the fob to remove the back panel. Rotate the panel gently in a counter-clockwise direction to detach it. Once the back panel is removed, utilize the second tool to pop out the battery by placing it underneath and lifting it. Then, simply insert the new battery and replace the back panel. You might need to slightly turn the back panel to align it correctly, but once aligned, secure it by gently rotating it clockwise.
