What is R3 Certified?

R3 Certification provides self storage facilities with the option to restore, rebuild, and replace their outdated steel roll up doors. We've partnered with Tenant Property Protection as well as Universal Insurance Programs to give customers a bigger discount when doing full metal door replacements. These industry insurance providers understand the importance of R3 Certification and have partnered with us to improve the safety, functionality, security, and also the value of your site!

How do you know you are eligible for R3 Certification? Any steel door replacement program that replaces old, outdated mini storage roll up doors with brand-new Janus metal swing or roll up doors is eligible for R3 Certification. You are also eligible by replacing your old self storage security system with the all-new SecurGuard® Smart Entry System and replacing your outdated metal doors.

This allows you to have higher rental rates, insurance discounts, and much more when you decide to restore, rebuild, and replace with Janus' R3 Program.
